For some reason the name is familiar, and the fact that he is from Kennesaw GA caught my eye. Anyway he had an LTTE in USA Today last Friday that I thought was interesting:
USA Today's story "Worm squirms into thousands of PCs" missed the point, completely. Microsoft posted a fix for the PC vulnerability in July. It is still the responsibility of information-technology security managers and PC users to keep up to date with security postings and fixes (Money, Aug 13). Should we start absolving people of their responsibility and wrongly blame "Big Bad Microsoft"? The expense and the headache of this vulnerability might have been avoided.
Nathaniel Clark Kennesaw, GA
First off - it's the responsibility of Microsoft to provide a secure operating system. I know I have a certain expectation that something I'm paying 1-2 hundred dollars for should be complete and secure.
Second, if this guy IS connected to BBV, is there something underlying his LTTE?
