Live on C-Span Zogby poll shows Clark starts fifth if he declares.
Competitive with all, I believe, individual candidates, head to head.
Voters do not think it's too late foe another candidate to enter the race. only 10 per cent, I believe, say they are closed to the idea of switching to another candidate.

1. Clark will hammer *
They are explaining the blind bio, neutral insight about candidates without name recognition, biograpically speaking he is well recieved. It all comes down to how he comes across while campaigning.

2. Blind bio poll?
That means they didnt have the names of the candidates
in this poll, correct? And it was commissioned by the
draft Clark people. And he came in fifth? I bet they
thought he would come in higher than fifth. Why didnt
they do a poll with the names of the candidates? This
is fifth out of ten, right? This is all a little puzzling.

5. "fifth against named dems"
They used his *blind bio* against "named dems"?
Or they used his *name* against the names of the Dems?

4. I think I'd like to see the blind bio questions...
Fifth is very good--if I were those other five I'd be *somewhat*...not worried, but know where you're starting from (I am fairly certain Edwards was in the last five).

But,someone who looks good on paper may not look good in person, either.

I'm curious why they did a blind bio--maybe I'll catch a replay, or the numbers on the site...

7. Clark was at 4.9. I believe that Edwards was 1.8%. I didn't catch a
glimpse of where Graham stands.

8. I figured as much...
Edwards' political/professional bio isn't nearly as full as Kerry/Clark/Dean/Graham/Kucinich/Lieberman/Gephardt.

But, there is a way to finesse biographies, I'm curious how that was done. I'm not saying it was biased or anything, I've just not heard of a blind bio poll.....

11. uh uh. This the 4.9/1.8 was not a blind bio response. It was a regular ..
voter preference question with the candidates named.

12. Whoa, then Clark is doing pretty good!
Oh, okay, I got all confused (I haven't seen any of the numbers yet, missed it on C-Span :()...

In that case, Clark is starting at an excellent place, without having said so much as "boo".

I got no probs with Clark, as you know.

9. This is actually a great starting point
I think. If you figure he's in just higher than 5th place as an undeclared, his standing is almost assured to go up if he jumps in the ring.
