School aims to replace 'liberal' judiciary
Edited on Fri Aug-27-04 05:44 PM by welshTerrier2
why don't we have schools for "liberal" judges ??

Classes begin today at a new law school in Virginia that hopes to groom students to replace "liberal, crazy, run-away judges," the Rev. Jerry Falwell said Tuesday in Fort Worth.

The teachings at Liberty University's School of Law will be based primarily on the Bible and on the U.S. Constitution, Falwell said to a student-packed auditorium at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Falwell, founder of the law school, appeared on stage with Pat Carlson, chairwoman of the Tarrant County Republican Party. Before Falwell spoke, Carlson encouraged "Christians" to go to the polls Nov. 2 and vote out "un-Godly elected officials."

Falwell, who has drawn controversy for preaching his conservative-leaning politics at the pulpit, said his law school in Lynchburg, Va., will debut with only 60 students. He predicted that enrollment will increase to 450 students in three years.

1. Would love to the application for accreditation.
"You must accredit us, GOD says so. So our students can't pass a bar exam, think critically, or understand the reasoning behind Griswold v. Conn., or Roe v. Wade. So what?"

5. The great liberal judicial conspiracy must be destroyed.

You know, I think some of these guys actually think we engineer these things. It would be easier to herd cats.

We are a liberal society, underpinned by a liberal Constitution. They will never get it, for many of these so-called conservatives, authoritarianism is the preferred form of governing.

8. why don't we have schools for "liberal" judges ??...
We do. They're called law schools, and other schools where people have to have a functioning cerebellum to be let in. The problem isn't that judges are "liberal", it's that they can actually think-- which translates to liberal in Falwell-land. See, an intelligent, rational person- or judge- would say.. Yeah, you know, it's really not constitutional to say that a kid has to pray to a deity he doesn't believe in... in a public school. You know, the law really doesn't have the right to tell a woman she needs to continue a pregnancy against her will that may kill her.

This is the kind of "liberal activism" these goobers want to stamp out.
