3. It has to be subtle parody
He complains about Strom Thurmond "not publicly supporting the president" lately, when everyone with a firing synapse knows he's been dad for a year.

It's funny. Check this out - reasons not to vote for Kerry:

John Kerry is a LIBERAL! That means he is out of MAINSTREAM America and doesn't do what normal people want

John Kerry only makes decisions on what the public wants at that time.

LOL, both have been used extensively as right-wing talking points, and yet there they are, side by side, showing they are totally OPPOSITE.

Great satire.

On edit: A little further down is this absolute gem:

While going to school at Yale College, John Kerry was in a club called the “Skull and Bones”. It’s a very secret club that has the members chanting and worshiping the devil and the members of the club go on to create conspiracies all over the world. Do we really want someone from this club running our country?

BWAH HA HA HA

13. LOL
"John Kerry went to Yale College. Yale College is somewhere in Masachusets and only educates LIBERALS."

"John Kerry LIED to get his medals in Viet Nam!! Not only did he LIE. He also convinced everyone who was fighting with him to LIE too. THEN he convinced the person writing the navy reports to LIE."

...will show this to his kids, thinking it's an introduction to freeperdom. The kid will probably be the one to set him straight--that is if the kid isn't too far gone already.
