Just saw a poll on Bloomberg from the National Annenberg
Edited on Fri Aug-27-04 03:08 PM by ignatius 2
Election Survey at the University of Pennsylvania.

46% believe that Bush's campaign is behind ads questioning Kerry's Vietnam war record.

37% of the 1244 adults polled between 8-23 to 8-26 think the ads were made independently.

I don't have a link to this but that seems to me good news. What about the other 17%?

1. I think this is the one issue that Bush will be taken to task for ...
in the debates. Kerry has a golden opportunity to throw it in his face, similar to the way McCain did in that recent ad they pulled.

2. Another poll, usatoday i think...
had well over 50% saying that bush was behind the ads and the majority saying he should condemn them.

3. I didn't see that one..between sliming McCain,Cleland, and John
Kerry a definite pattern is emerging. Is this the way the GOP will smear Iraqi vets 30 years from now?

4. what a great question you pose ... talk about unintended consequences!
the busheviks should burn in hell for these tactics and consequences to honorable service men and women ... just my $.04 (that's for you, Gen. Clark)

5. Somehow I wish I really could believe in this hell that they
should burn in. It sure would simplify things. Unfortunately, empirical evidence does not support it, and even as an operating notion, it does't seem to hold much water. We'll have to make them pay in the here-and-now, I suppose.
