The biggest bombshell before the election I hope for
Is is Nader suddenly decided he was dropping out.

Anyone think there is a chance? If so Bush's people would really be freaking out.

4. I don't think it would have much effect
Many of those who are unthinking enough to vote for Nader wouldn't vote for Kerry anyway. Presumably they pretty much believe the old canard that there is no difference between Republicans and Democrats.

6. A move like that before the convention would only solidify Bushbots.

7. Here's a bigger bombshell
Nader gets .05% of the vote.

If people ignore him, he will go away. The couple of people I know who voted for Nader will be voting for Kerry this time around. They won't be fooled again. I hope that sentiment is widespread.

8. And I say what if the Diebold hackers screw up and
Nader "wins" the election!?

Which takes me to my favorite question for Nader supporter -- 'what would you do if he won?' One said after a three second pause, "well he can't"

9. I think the stock market is gonna go south!
After Greenspan today about SS, the revision on GDP growth and yesterday's poverty report, Wall Street knows well and good consumer confidence is going down. A crash may be the October surprise we hadn't counted on, too.

11. won't happen . . . Nader's head's too big . . .
and his brain's too small . . . however, it would be really nice if his vote was 1% or less, particularly in swing states . . .

12. I think this is possible.
Remeber Nader's early meetings with JK? The one where Nader was all smiles afterward but we don't really know what they talked about?

Well now that I believe that JK and McCain's "Vice Prez" meetings were more about coordinating a response to the inevitable attacks on JK's war record- I think Nader and JK may already have a deal where Nader drops out at just the right moment, possibly in exchange for a great appointment.

And I think Nader dropping out would be valuable because it would throw off Rove's careful calculations, state by state. I bet even some of the electronic voting cheating they have planned may include throwing votes to Nader.

I do not think Nader would drop out unless Kerry offered him a great post.
