We could move somewhere else. But where would the wingnuts go?
The thought crossed my mind that while we Libs could move to a more socially enlightened country in, say, Europe, to escape another * term, where could you go as a right-winger to escape a Kerry term? Is there a more right-wing christian western democracy out there for them? Any fascist christian theocracies out there where they would feel at home? Where do the freepers say they'll go if Kerry is elected?

This kind of underlines how 'unique' we are as western democracy, how far to the right we are, comparatively speaking.

4. They'd love Iran.
One party rule, no dissent tolerated, religion and state are one. As long as they were the ones in charge.

5. They could repent....
and stay here. They could read their holy book and truly understand it.... and stay here. They could cease to operate out of fear that tomorrow there may not be enough.. and stay here...

They could realize why they find disfavour with America and her foreign policy.... and stay here....

Other than that.... they better get packing. Kidding of course....

3. Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kuwait
oh wait, those are Muslim countries. Well, at least they share the same "values" - authoritarianism, anti-gay, anti-women, focus on crime punishment vs. crime prevention, etc., etc., etc.
