More Republican family values in Cincinnati.
The local prosecutor (a big deal job in Cincinnati) admits that he is sorry for getting caught, oh er.. engaging in an extra marital affair.

Allen acknowledges extramarital affair

Hamilton County Prosecutor Mike Allen admitted today that he had a four-year extramarital affair with a female subordinate, and asked for forgiveness for himself and privacy for his family.
"I want to confess one of the worst mistakes of my life -- It was a betrayal of the values I hold most dear," Allen said in a statement after which he refused to answer questions.

He faces no opposition in the November election. Well, at least he is sorry.

1. Once is a mistake
Repeatedly over four years is much more than 'oops'

2. Also former County Republican Party Chairman
He's about to be sued for sexual harrassment by the woman in question. She insists that Allen "stalked" her from the moment she got her job and wouldn't quit.

And since when is a three and a half year affair considered a "mistake?" Turning right when you meant to turn left is a mistake. Typo's are a mistake. When you spend nearly four years lying to your wife and children, it's a friggin' character flaw.

3. I love the way they all ask for privacy and forgiveness
But when it was Bill Clinton, they wanted his head on a platter and constant media attention, night and day. Can we say double standard? Or is it hypocrite?

4. he never lied UNDER OATH
if you can avoid that, and controlling all branches of the federal government sure helps, then republicans don't give a crap about any other lies.

the history of the 'county prosecutor' job in hamilton county is a sad tale of draconian one-upmanship. simon leis. ugh.

7. Hopefully he'll be forced out of office as prosecutor.
Too bad the local Democratic Party sucks here. They never put anyone up to run for county prosecutor.

I believe the woman. It had to be sexual harrassment in order for her to sleep with that piece of crap masquerading as a man. :puke:
