Nader is at the very top of my S-list (and that don't stand for sugar). However, add Camejo now. I used to have respect for him, but now he just sounds like Nader. On and on about how everyone who supports third parties are victims. Rs send money please. We need it.

1. Watched it, and have to say I liked his anti-war stance
WHY couldn't Kerry come out against the war?!

He also made a good point about revamping the elction process so that the popular vote determines who becomes President.

He implied European countries just shake their heads when MORE PEOPLE voted for Gore, yet Bush* becomes President. I agree it's time for a change. Maybe that's the way to get more people to the polls...if they knew that their vote would be counted just as much as the guy's in California or New York.

7. Actually California and New York get screwed by the Elec. Coll.
Because the number of votes are limited, a small state will count more than it should. A state like WY with 150,000 has 3 electoral votes (1 each for the reps), or about one per 50,000 people. California, with a population of 33,000,000 and 54 Evs has its people getting one EV for some 600,000 people. THIS is how Bush won. Without the EV, or at least a larger pool of EVs, the playing field will never be level at the start of the game. As long as Reps can get WY, ID, MT and other low population but high EV totals with respect to population, we're in trouble.

3. Camejo made many good points...
...as listed by response #1.

A simple solution to many of the voting problems would be to institute IRV. I don't understand why this isn't discussed more and why there isn't a more active movement to establish this voting system.

4. Why? Because the whole system is rigged, and the big $$$
like it just the way it is, right now.

It would be one hell of a HUGE fight to overcome the criminals that have seized control.

Is this country really ready for a fight of that magnitude?

6. I'm ready for that fight
but I understand that some forward progress is better than none at all. I am sacraficing instant gratification in the hopes that a Kerry adminstration while create a better climate for that fight.

10. My problem with Nader and Camejo is it sounds as though
they are trying to play the same money game and whine about it too.

9. He's Really A Liberterian
And, he's a doctor. So, science is not intimidating to him, nor are smart people.

I don't exactly know how smart people are attracted to liberterianism, but it happens. Too bad. I think that philosophy is sorely wanting.

11. Thanks..already getting checked on another thread
and we have gone beyond Foreign Policy. My reference to science wasn't meant in the literal sense...just I thought he was making some good points.

"It never ceases to amaze me the increasing number of things I know absolutely nothing about." I don't know who said that, but it rings true to me.
