<<Although I will admit, I am growing kind of weary of the Kerry bashing by the far right, I am now having some major doubts about Kerry (not all, mind you, just about the fact that he's serious about keeping our troops in Iraq for the duration, and that bothers me....a lot!). Nader is sounding better & better a choice for yours truly. Midnite Dave>>

Though Bush doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell of winning my state (Connecticut), the thought of anyone I personally know voting for Nader this year makes my stomach turn.

Fer chrissake Dave, use your fuckin' brain! :scared:

Why would any intelligent person vote for Nadar? I am so disgusted with this whole fiasco of a campaign! The repubs are out to steal this again! By what ever means they can muster! It should be obvious to any thinking person, what the CONServatives intend to do! bush*co intends to steal this election! by any smear/lie/...............whatever! Anyone who falls for it, is indeed a fool or a tool!

6. Ask Dave to sincerely ask himself
whether he really wants to take the risk of Bush winning. Even Nader supporters understand that he doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell. So in reality, there are two choices. Which would he rather have?

Neither of them vows to end this illegal, immoral war.

Personally I can see where this guy is coming from. He lives in a safe state, and is a committed anti-war activist. With neither major candidate coming out against the war, the man is going to make a protest vote, one that his conscience can accept. I respect him for that, and quite frankly would follow the same path(though I would vote Green rather than Nader) if I were in his shoes. Instead, I'm in a battleground state(please make the commercials stop), and will vote for Kerry, ONLY because of the Court nominations. Kerry's position on the war, corporate tax cuts, privacy issues, and most other issues leave me shaking my head wondering :wtf:

Face it, we're living under the two party/same corporate master system of government. It is becoming more and more obvious that the differences between the two major parties is more of style, not substance. We need a real change in this country, not just the faux change promised by the Democrats. This is why I'm working for and voting for the Greens, especially in local and state elections. They accept no corporate cash, and among other planks, support publicly financed election campaigns, which would break the grip big business has on our government.

But like I said, I'm voting Kerry this round, probably the last time I'll vote Democratic, unless they get their shit together and once again become the progressive party that they once were.
