Jesse 'The idiot' Ventura won't vote for either candidate
Edited on Thu Aug-26-04 05:48 PM by HypnoToad
He hates * because the war's been poorly handled.

He hates Kerry because "he'll raise taxes". (a glib statement when Kerry won't raise taxes on the middle class and rescind the tax cuts given to the wealthy so we can get rid of the national debt and afford to pay the troops what the fuck they're worth.)

Ventura can go sell a football team for all I care. If he doesn't vote, he should just shut the hell up and crawl under his favorite rock.

1. Maybe he'll vote for Nader or Badnarik when the time comes?

2. Jesse Ventura: Proof that Minnesotans aren't just social drinkers, but
full-blown alcoholics.

Actually, some comic (can't remember who) said that. Apologies to you Minnesotans out there. It's just that I have to do this; I'm in California. I'm SOOOOOO ashamed of "Governor" Schwarzenegger that I have to make fun of another state of I'll burst into anguished tears.

3. That's OK. We got tired of him in a hurry.
He was a one-termer; finally figured he hadn't a chance in hell of getting re-elected. He had some entertainment value, and that's about it. Jesse was always in it for Jesse, and it doesn't surprise me to hear he won't vote for Kerry because of the tax issue. One of Jesse's big issues was reducing the state motor vehicle tax *only because Jesse himself owned expensive cars* and *he* didn't want to pay it. He drives a Humvee now; nearly ran my brother off the road with it not too long ago.

I will say one thing in his favor, though: In becoming Governor, he handed that weasel Norm Coleman his ass. Sadly, Weasel Norm is now our Senator; KKarl Rove's new butt-boy, pretending to replace Paul Wellstone, whose shoes he wasn't fit to shine.

Good luck in unloading Ahhnold...

His distaste for both democrats and republicans is renowned.
Indeed that was his entire campaign platform.
