In my opinion,GWB and his cabal have decided to write off the
American people's economic concerns as of little consequence. They have the terror issue that will keep the people from voting them out of office while their tax cuts will ensure their big supporters, the corporations, can invest big time in countries like India and China. As these markets continue to grow, the American market would matter less and less. These cold and calculating Republican monsters have us over a barrel.Unless we wake up to this twin strategy, we are going to become beggars in our own country, our Constitution will be in tatters and our votes won't matter. Our last chance to turn the tid eis going to be Nov.2.After that, the deluge.

3. Did you see Aaron Brown's "Newsnight" last night?

SAD! He did a segment on the growing numbers of people in line at soup kitchens. In OHIO... A single mom who found out she had a tumor and had to choose whether to treat it or pay her mortgage. She ended up losing her house. Her and her daughter lived in a shelter until low income housing became available. She worked 120 hrs. (per month? I think) at the soup kitchen to help pay for her low income housing. EVERY penny she had went to surviving! Her rent, $25.00 in gas for her car and that lasted her a week, the phone bill and if her teenaged daughter needed ANYTHING...forget it, no money to get it.

A man who had lost his parts manufacturing job. Lost his house. Lost his car. Had no savings acct. or checking acct. and he said if it wasn't for his parents, he would be living in a box. He looked to be in his 50's maybe. Sad, sad, sad that people in this country are suffering like they are and this administration is spending BILLIONS AND BILLIONS on an illigitimate war. :grr::nuke::grr::nuke::grr:

4. The United States has been "colonized" by big business.
Ultimately, we will be transformed into at 3rd world economy. There will be no middle class, only rich and poor. Our natural resources will be mostly gone and the environment rendered unsafe for healthy life.

6. That would be funnier if it wasn't so close to the truth
Didja ever notice the plethora of prophetic films that came out during the Height of the Old Republic?

From those have have come even TRUER than their nightmarish visions ("Network") to those that have come true in a more indirect sense ("Rollerball").

It was easy to see the way down from the heights, wasn't it?

7. What we have not yet realized is how little they need us peons to
do any productive work. They may need our children to fight their wars
but even that is becoming less and less necessary as they can find mercenaries willing to do this anywhere. This is why when Dumbsfeld called our soldiers "fungible" my ears perked up,They essentially want to put up America for sale and rule the world with their privatized armed forces. If you think you are worried about outsourcing now, wait until what they are going to do in the next ten or twenty years.I read that Carlyle Group has invested about a billion dollars in an Indian Software Company to develop Defense related software.

Last month I posted something as a lark comparing this administration to the Corleone family.Little did I realize at that time how close that comparison was and how much scarier these guys are going to be.

8. No birth control or education.
That guarantees a big supply of ignorant slaves/workers. But promise them great riches in their "next" life.
