Everyone remember Reagan’s “October Surprise” strategy?
The point being the Republicans will do anything, even allow Americans to be held hostage, which boarders on treason, just to win. Taking that as a given it is not to far a reach to suggest that Bush, Rove and company currently know where Bin Laden is and is holding off gathering him in so that he can do so during the month before the 2004 election. October 2004 could be to late and more Americans will die. We should demand that Bush no longer put this country and its people in danger by allowing a sworn enemy and known murder to stay at large in the venal attempt to win the presidency. Country to Bush: Produce Bin Laden NOW!

1. They may well have Saddam in custody now and on ice.
Holding onto both him and Osama for the right photo-op moment. I don't put anything past those shitheads.

3. I'm sure they have Osama and Saddam in a cage somewhere
waiting for just the right moment to produce the prisoner/corpse. No, this isn't beyond them.

5. I think they are letting them run loose until next year.
The country should demand that they be picked up and produced.

6. Imagine it
Its September 2004, and in the first week Bush is nominated the Republican candidate in NYC. Then we have the anniversary of 9/11, and we see celebrations of Bush and his leadership through those tough times.
In late September, it is announced that they have found and identified the body of Osama bin Laden. The media rejoices.
By now its the beginning of October. A raid takes place in Iraq in which Saddam is found and killed on the spot. The UN has finally agreed to send peacekeeping forces after more international interests are bombed by "terrorists". Bush comes on TV in mid-October and announces that the troops are coming home.

This calls for another round of tax cuts for the fabulously wealthy.

We don't stand a chance.

7. Bin Laden is not dead
And Bush knows where he is and will not bring him in until October 2004. In the meantime he is placing all of us in danger.
