Is Bu$h a terrorist?
Hubby and I are having quite a disagreement. I think shrub is a terrorist and he says I am stretching things! What is your opinion?

Here is the definition from dictionary.com:

terrorism

n : the calculated use of violence (or threat of violence) against civilians in order to attain goals that are political or religious or ideological in nature; this is done through intimidation or coercion or instilling fear

I say that the pubes are using the threat of violence (the sky is falling/the terrorists are attacking) against us (the civilians) in order to obtain their political goal of staying in office and this act of terrorism is done by them trying to instill fear in all of us.

This, to me, fits the definition that this dictionary set forth. Not only that, but I think he is a terrorist in other ways. Look at what he allows to be set forth in Abu. And I bet he has caused more harm and death to people in America and Iraq than what happened at WTC.

The harm has been done by going forth through his lies and creating a false war over in Iraq. It has been done by fixing the EPA report and saying the Manhattan area was totally safe for people. It has been done, I am sure, in ways we have not even imagined yet.

So, back on topic. I say Bu$h is a terrorist. What do you say?

1. The US is the biggest trainer and exporter of terrorists in the world.
As for Iraq, we are killing citizens right and left. We invaded a country that was basically defensless. And don't forget the civilians in Afghanistan. And if use instilling fear, then you can add the US population too. I agree with you totally.

4. I agree with you
Bush is a POWER & CONTROL FREAK. I believe he was complicit in 9/11 and allowed it to happen 'CALCULATED USE OF VIOLENCE' JUST SO HE COULD START A WAR AGAINST IRAQ & SADDAM HUSSEIN VIA AFGHANISTAN & OSAMA BIN LADEN; AND ALSO BEGIN TO DISMANTLE OUR DEMOCRACY VIA THE PATRIOT ACT AND HOMELAND SECURITY.
;(

5. So if we are to agree he is a terrorist.....
perhaps that means Kerry should go undercover of the night. He should invoke the Patriot Act and whisk Bu$h away never to be heard from again. We do not want terrorists roaming the streets of our country. What a nice dream to wake up in the morning and find Bu$h out of office and having disappeared forever!

It would be nice to use his own poison against him!

8. No, not by definitions of today's terrorist threats...BUT he IS
A LUNATIC. He is a madman. He is a sociopath. He is a megalomaniac, a loose cannon, an asshole. He is a bully, stingy, self serving, a paranoid little puke... terrorist? No. He wants everyone to "like him". He thinks he's God's gift to mankind; the saviour of all people.

13. I also thought this was interesting.....
it is another definition from Dictionary.com

terrorism

\Ter"ror*ism\, n. The act of terrorizing, or state of being terrorized; a mode of government by terror or intimidation. --Jefferson.

Hubby now agrees with me, that by that definition, shrub is a terrorist!
