He had Willie Brown and some CRAZY Asian-American woman (Michelle Malkin) who wrote a book defending the use of racial profiling in WW2 and the "war" on terror (!!!!!) and just DESTROYED her for suggesting it's possible Kerry shot himself to get one of his purple hearts.

(I'll admit I was dismayed when Brown said Kerry might have "fatal flaws" as a candidate)

But Matthews was just not having any of this lady's bullshit. Refreshing.

(could you imagine if a Dem "suggested" that it's possible that Bush went AWOL because he was completing community service for cocaine possession?? Jesus I wish someone would!!

2. That Michelle Malkin ain't right

I saw her on Maher's show last week, and she was the same shrill short-tempered priss that she was tonight. Just awful.

She loses her cool way too much, obviously gets angry when someone like Matthews talks over her, and just isn't very good at punditry. As vile as Annthrax Coulter is, she can spout out the most ridiculous stuff without even breaking a sweat. Though it helps that she goes on cupcake shows that don't give her too much shit.

I'd hate to sound sexist, but I wonder if there's a casting couch in the television punditry business. She is truly bad.

If a white person wrote a book defending the internment of US citizens of Japanese ethnicity, he or she would be called a racist, but no one is calling Michelle Malkin a racist since she's non-white.

He's done most of his political work for Republicans, but was a very close confidant to Clinton.

Gergen's been on both sides, and while I'm sure he leans to the right, he plays it straight down the middle when on TV. Just because he may be GOP does not mean you're getting Newt Gingrich when he comes on. He does have good, non-biased insight.
