Does a GOP Implosion Await?
By Robert B. Bluey
CNSNews.com Staff Writer
August 16, 2004

When conservatives gathered in the nation's capital last Wednesday for a panel discussion on the 2004 election, they certainly didn't leave with good news about President Bush's re-election hopes. Even the conservative member of the panel said Republicans weren't excited by Bush.

"For all the talk about polarization, I find a startling agreement everybody I talk to," syndicated columnist Robert Novak told the audience. "Nobody seems to like George Bush very much. The Democrats I talk to hate him and the Republicans aren't very enthusiastic about him."

More bad news followed. Political analyst Stuart Rothenberg said it won't be easy for Bush to win re-election. In Rothenberg's view, Bush will either need to make Kerry seem so unacceptable that voters reject him or he must convince voters the country is headed in the right direction.

5. Let us hope. But I'll believe it when I see it & not before
You think Faux ReichsPravda is going to vanish?

The hundreds of Paid Bush Propagandists scattered across the "Liberal Media", both print and TV?

The MILLIONS of people who been so expensively reprogrammed by Goebbels v2.0 (see above) from Americans into the kind of people who carried Hitler and Stalin into power, they are just going to sort of deprogram themselves and become Americans again?

You think the ReichsPravda of AM Talk Radio is going to go away and stopp reinforcing the Geobbelsian programming that has turned MILLIONS from Americans into the kind of people who carried Hitler and Stalin into power?

(For Hitler it was BushChristians, for Stalin, the Busheviks were secular)

Sorry to rain on the parade, but I will only believe it when I see it.

Consider for parties like the Busheviks... Commies, Nazis, Ferd Marcos Lapdogs, Milosevic...what did it take for THEM to be tossed from power and their parties fracture?

A helluva lot more than a little election.

I'll believe it when I see it.

2. I'll believe it when I see it, and Novak is a useless analyst on anything.
This coalition survived Clinton, I can see them surviving this election. And Novak has no idea what is going on.

3. Really? Who woulda guessed?
" Bush will either need to make Kerry seem so unacceptable that voters reject him or he must convince voters the country is headed in the right direction."

As opposed to campaigning against himself? What else could he do?

6. BTW, the proper analysis of any Novak "idea"
is that the conservative power brokers who have Novak's ear want that idea spread.

So think about who would benefit from the idea, and what it accomplishes in public and political perception.

Dont ever take it at face value, he is a parrot.
