how can i post a link? we (liberals) have a on going debate on another web-site with some right wing nut jobs. i would love to link this latest story from yahoo,debunking one of the swift boat vets over to there. thanks

1. posting links...

On this board, just type in (or copy & paste) the h ttp:// url. (No space between the http part)

On some boards you need to put < link> then your h ttp:// url, and then < /link>

(No spaces between the brackets and the word link)

2. Go to the story in LBN.

Put your mouse arrow over the title of the story and right click on your mouse. It will give you options...choose "Copy Link Location." Then go to your other board and type a post and "paste" the headline there.

3. Couple of options

click on the address in the address bar (the entire URL will be highlighted)
click on 'Edit'
click on 'Copy'
click where you want the address to appear within your post
click on 'Edit'
click on 'Paste'
It should appear in the message as a link.

4. Copy & paste !

I believe if you right click on the link and click on copy ,then in your post place your cursor where you want the lnk and click on edit ,then paste.Sometimes the web site is not set up to allow this type of working link ,they may only get the address and have to type it in ! I other words if it dosnt post the lnk in blue, it wont take you to the web site by just clicking on it ! I believe thats thats what the HTML enabled is for. What I cant seem to do is figure out how to post a picture. In my emails I know how to do this using the insert option ,however when at a web site I dont have the insert option available. I tried copy and paste and it did not post the picture ? If my directions are not correct I would love to be corrected !

5. Pictures

right click on pic
little window will pop up
click on properties
highlight the address (URL)
hold control click C
Go to where you want to drop the pic in your message,
hold control click V
