1. Those who do not understand geo-politics will vote 'yes'
those that do not are freepy or ignorant (in my opinion - esp N Korea)

But WHY is Amber whatever on their FRONT PAGE.....Hello???

I don't think most Americans understand why our troops are there, or what the ramifiactions of withdrawing them might be. I think what we may be seeing here is a knee-jerk reaction to a couple of things. First, the idea of "bringing the troops home" may simply be appealing to people, given the ongoing stories of unending deployments in Iraq. Other people may actually be thinking hard enough to recognize that if these troops are pulled from Europe and Asia, we'll be able to send THEM to Iraq and possibly avoid a draft.

Come to think of it, that might be the very reason why bush* is coming out with this all of a sudden. He needs more cannon fodder, and he knows that reinstating the draft would sink him in a hot minute.

Hmm.
