I was absolutely appalled watching the hearings today.
No doubt that Kay's single most important job is to deflect any, and I mean any, criticism about 9/11 away from Bush and Bush regime. It's the CIA all the way...never mind what Sibel Edmonds said about the shit that happened or didn't happen at the FBI, never mind that Cheney's group of thugs pressured WMD analysts, never mind that Powell, Rummy, and others relied on cooked up intel from Israel, UK, and others, never mind that Bush sat petrified in that classroom for 7 minutes, nevermind that the CIA briefs warned about unconfirmed info, never mind about PNAC, it's Tenet's fault and what is not his fault is Clinton's fault. I was simply amazed.

How many of you out there think that this "good cop, bad cop" act that is playing out between Bush's agreement with the Intel Director and Rummy's disagreement with will result in Rummy quitting and using this as an excuse (when in reality it will be because of the Abu Gahrib revelations yet to come)? At the same time the Republicans get to say that Bush is a strong leader for standing up to someone of Rummy's stature and making tough decisions and proving once again that Bush is really in charge. I think the entire thing is phony.

God these people are friggin INSANE!!!!
