Gray Davis is doing the whores' job for them
I heard a panel discussion today, maybe it was ABC, where they touched on his "power grab" comments.

Of course all they did was go on about why did he say it, or else go on about how Davis always does this, etc. etc. But they never got around to discussing the fact that Davis is pretty obviously right.

I kind of got a feeling that they all knew this in the back of their heads as they were talking, that if they were at all honest they would have been making Davis's argument from the beginning, going back to the impeachment.

I got the same feeling when Bob Graham gave a pretty angry answer to some whore's question about his comments on Bush being impeached. He said that the argument is academic for Graham himself to say, but that he didn't understand what's keeping the press from examining the double standard between Clinton and Bush. The whore looked, in my imagination at least, like he knew in his sould that Graham was right.

1. Your header is misleading.
But anyway, my San Diego sister says that Davis' speech was perfect, and it's unfortunate we're only getting the least cogent soundbites from it.

2. It is somewhat misleading
I am a California resident and I think the Dems should hit harder on this theme of the repukes trying to steal another election. I do think the recall is exactly that. It only takes five percent of the total from the previous election to trigger the recall process. For years now, the repukes have screamed tax and spend liberals. Dems should yell god damn fuckin' thieves. Legal or not, it is a coup. What repukes can't win by the ballot box, they will steal.

3. Davis is on the money.
Californians need to turn out *Democrats* if they are going to win this recall. Linking the recall to Republican power-grabs is a good way to start.
