I don't want names, just legitimate locations...for every new DU "Star" from someone with an Illinois return address or other identifier (area code)...and I'll match $1 for each member...on top of a donation I plan to make.

I'm willing to go further, but let's see if we get others in on this thing and make it a real community experience.

Let's definitely kick this around tomorrow and see if it gets some cube rats and others interested.

If anyone wants to do some sort of donation matching, I think it's a great idea. I think it should probably work like this:

We should probably have a specific timeframe for the offer. For example, tell everyone that the offer is open until noon ET on Friday.

Tell me the parameters of the challenge: "I'll donate one dollar for every dollar donated from the state of Texas" or whatever. If appropriate, you should probably include a maxumum you are willing to donate, so you're not on the hook for thousands of dollars. :)

I'll post a thread explaining the offer(s) and pin it to the top of the busy forums.
