Dallas Political Bookstores
Hi, everyone. I'm going to Dallas for a vacation and I wondered if anyone knew of some good, politically oriented bookstores or leftish leaning clothing stores in the area. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
David Murphy

1. Bookstores? No, can't help much there
However, clothing is easier...go hang out in a pair of areas called Lower Greenville and Deep Ellum

2. Dallas for a vacation?
Madness.

But since you are headed this way...

I've had extraordinary luck with lefty books at Half Price Books. Just got a bunch of Chomsky for cheap the other day. This is the mothership:

Northwest Highway location.

And there is a small store that must have a reviewer or two haunting it because they get new stuff all the time.

Paperbacks Plus

If you are traveling south to north, hit Paperbacks Plus first, then Half Price. Those are two of my faves.

And if you still have a couple of coins left over...

There are several different 75 Off Books in the DFW area. Never know what you will find. They are a publisher-end run clearance center.

Good hunting!
