I was visiting a friend and saw a small clip of Senator Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) call VP Dick "chicken hawk" Cheney a coward in a speech today.

I loved what I saw, but it was only about 15 seconds.

If it is as it appears, all I can say is God Bless Tom Harkin, we need more hard nosed talk from surrogates to protect Kerry from the Repuke attacks.

Like War and Football, in politics the best defense is a good offense.

IBEW Iron worker? Working on a high rise? Iron Workers and Electricians are separate Unions. They are both good, as is the Boilermakers Union, which I belong to. Just wonderin'.

I'm the President and BA for a small local just outside of Boston.

IBEW 123, which represents the workers at the Horse Track, Suffolk Downs.

I am employed as a Mutuel Clerk (sell pari-mutuel tickets at the track). There are about 210 members in out Local which represents all the workers at the track, including bar-tenders, waitresses, and maintenance personal, as well as the Mutuel Clerks.
