This is so inspiring! I caught some early coverage of the U.S. women's soccer team playing the women's Greek team yesterday--first Greek women's soccer team to play in the Olympics. (And I never was attracted to soccer before.) Those women were so amazing!

You should have seen them!

Greece is the springboard for Western civilization, lore, and art.

I'm so damned excited!

Let's rejoin the world in athletics and in culture.

it always freak me out how many words I look up are from Greek. I wasted years in latin, french and spanish.

10. They boo'ed the Iraqi athletes.

Maybe I'm not up to speed on this, but weren't these the guys that Uday and Kusay would torture if they weren't good? I dunno. I really feel stupid about this. I thought we had liberated these Iraqis to be able to do this in freedom?
