I came home today and all the channels on my cable were different- and best of all no FOX news channel.

Because I'm in Alabama and my line up changed to. I think they did a sweep and cut out the channels I was "accidently receiving for free." Oops.

6. Are you saying that someone actually PAYS for faux?

I realize that all cable channels are ones we pay for, but there are different tiers and faux is in most every tier package. Hell, if they told me that I was recieving that crap for free and I had to pay extra for it, I'd say I need the money, lose it now. Even if I didn't need the money, I'd say the same thing.

My package was downgraded...I lost CNN too. Maybe I don't care tho...my BP will be lowered without them! :)

All the news channels are still low numbers- I still have CNN, headline news, MSNBC, CNBC.

I get cable internet and every channel they offer for $130 a month- so if they didn't drop it I should have it.

and C-SPAN2, C-SPAN3???? I have "skipped" all FOX channels on my basic extended. I don't watch national news as in CBS,ABC, NBC, CNN, CNBC, or the Headline News, I come to DU to get all I need to know, or want to know. I love it here. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

21. Not that Palm Beach County is

conservative but I think it's great that they dropped it so nobody can watch it. I just got back from vacation in New England- I grew up there. I remember people used to read the Boston Globe- now they all read the Boston Herald (a conservative rag). I can see a change in attitudes up there as a result.

So - I am very happy about FOX being dropped here.
