Maybe Bush has decided that as long as he's going down anyway
he might as well bomb Iraq back to the Stone Age.

It's so like him.

2. maybe he doesn't want a second term
I wonder if anyone has ever thought of that.

Maybe he'd rather be off the hook.

10. I've thought about that...
And it is certainly a possibility. Let's face it, he would rather spend his time playing golf and "clear brush" so yea it might be true on some levels.... But I don't think the the Neocons want to give up power... Nooo wayyy Jooossseeee

3. Sounds like Saddham lighting the Kuwait oil fields on fire
Birds of a feather. They share a sadisitic streak, too.

6. PNACers revenge
My fear is that (if the election really can't be fixed again) the PNACers will rush through their agenda or leave Kerry in a place that can't be fixed in order to hasten their restoration.

8. Hell Yes
If the armed services could be stretched any thinner, or if a draft wouldn't kill his chances completely, he'd have us in Iran before he gets booted out. This is one sick individual. I am amazed at the vast number of idiots still supporting this evildoer.

9. "depression" is a cover story -- pure spin

"It has been discussed frequently on DU that DimSon is a pathological narcissist: Narcissistic Personality Disorder as described in DSM-IV. It has been noted that he's incapable of facing hostile or antagonistic audiences ... without medication. His very frequent retreats to the pig ranch in Crawford, the retreat at Camp David, and the family compound in Kennebunkport are essential to keep this severe disorder under control and feed him the 'narcissistic supply' to which he's emotionally addicted.

"This is not and never has been an emotionally stable person. Through the miracles of modern pharmacology, he's a medicated sock puppet. One of the medicinal side effects that's been noted has been an anomalous absence of sweat under conditions where healthy people do what's natural: sweat. Some of the medications (beta-blockers) he's used to put a lid on the anxiety that stems from confrontation also inhibit sweating.

Make no mistake: this sociopath is a hair's breadth away from a meltdown."
