Tell your U.S. Senators to delay vote on Goss
pResident Bush's nomination of Fla. Representative Porter Goss to be the next Central Intelligence Director of the CIA is, as we all here know, politically motivated. There is no legitimate reason or purpose in nominating a new CID at this time.

I sent the message below to both my U.S. Senators. Feel free to cut and paste.

I urge you to delay the nominating process for CIA Director-designate Porter Goss until after the Novemeber election.

An appointment to a position of this import deserves the full advisory authority of the Senate before it tenders its consent, not a cursory endorsement passed in haste.

If you don't know how to contact your Senators' go to Senate.gov, it's pretty self-explanitory.
