Dean's Good Ol' American Horse Sense.
Boy was I surprised to find this little gem, especially in a paper that hails from the same state that brought us Strom Thurmond.

Centrists won't cut it
By John David Rose
Carolina Morning News

Corporate Democrats, the ones who moved Bill Clinton to the "center" to beat Bush I, are worried sick. Republican strategists are rubbing their hands with glee.

What worries the Democratic Leadership Council is Dean's strong anti-war and tax cut rollback stance. What pleases Bush's Svengali, Karl Rove, is the same. Both see Dean's positions as too far left of "mainstream" America.

They're not paying attention. Locked into an inside-the-Beltway mentality, they don't give enough credit to good ol' American horse sense.

1. Not a bad little column

2. One small error
the author said "Kerry's home state of NH". But otherwise a great article, fairly describing Dean's vision and plans.
