Finally, finally, finally saw Farenheight 911, and I have a question
How much of Time Warner is owned by the Saudis? (As TW owns CNN, this is not an idle question.)

3. They merged, Ted Turner is the largest single stock holder of
AOL, but he has complained that they do not listen to him. Other than Ted, the Saudis own the largest percent of AOLTime Warner, and you can bet your bottom dollar that they have plenty to do with what goes on.

So if your asking should you believe anything on CNN, I would say no, they are Saudi owned and would never do anything to piss off their corporate masters.

2. No evidence of Saudi ownership
according to this post:
http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=203124

And I haven't been able to find anything on Saudis owning AOL/Time-Warner yet. Not to say they don't own any. After all, they do own something like 7 percent of this whole country, right, so it's not inconceiveable that they'd own some of AOLTW.

4. Prince al Waleed is a major shareholder

Granted, this article is by Joe Farah, a Rush Limbaugh ghostwriter, but he hates the Saudis with a passion. He is a Lebanese-American Catholic and an ardent Zionist.

"For instance, the prince now owns a whopping $2.05 billion worth of AOL stock. AOL/Time-Warner, as you know, controls, among many other media enterprises, CNN, the influential global news network. He also owns at least $50 million worth of Disney stock, the company that controls, among other media enterprises, ABC. He also controls at least 3 percent of News Corporation, the parent company of the New York Post, Fox News Channel, the London Times and many other media outlets around the world.

He also has large holdings in such American corporate names as Compaq, Kodak, Xerox, Amazon, eBay, Internet Capital Group, Infospace, DoubleClick, Coke, Pepsi, Ford, McDonald's, Gillette and Procter & Gamble. "
