Anybody But Bush would have...
Anybody But Bush would have met with his counter-terrorism czar at least ONCE within the first 7 months of his administration.

ABB would have met with Hart-Rudman homeland security commission and reviewed the recommendations submitted to the President in March of 2001.

ABB would have actually read the August 6 PDB.

ABB wouldn't have been on vacation for an entire month during the time of most urgent and active terrorist threat warnings leading up to 9/11.

ABB would have considered TERRORISM the largest threat facing the nation after reading the Hart-Rudman commission report and talking to his counter-terrorism czar and being warned such by the prior administration.

ABB would have implemented the 9/11 Investigating Commission immediately after 9/11 in order to understand what our systematic failures and weaknesses were.

ABB would have followed up an Afganistan invasion and a systematic 9/11 investigation with radical changes to our homeland security and intelligence system 2 years earlier.

ABB would have kept Saddam in his box until all of our flawed intelligence and security systems were overhauled and our biggest threats were addressed.

ABB would have focused on terrorist threats after 9/11, rather that sucking all of the military resources into an unnecessary war in Iraq.

ABB would have let inspections continue working as they had been after 1441.

ABB would have kept our most critical and best trained soldiers on the hunt for al Qaeda and bin Laden in the border region between Afganistan and Pakistan rather than having them hunt all over Iraq for Saddam Hussein.

ABB would (after having allowed the inspections to continue) won support of allied forces to help finance and provide troops for any needed invasion.

ABB would have listened to the U.S. military planners and finally - when appropriate - invaded Iraq with sufficient resources and troops win the battle AND THE PEACE.

ABB would have been honest with the people about the intelligence, the costs and the needed resources because they would have been honest with themselves first.

ABB would have been one of the great President's of all time, because they were presented the opportunity for greatness.

2. ABB...
ABB would have used AMERICAN troops to hunt down bin Laden at Tora Bora, rather than spending 2 months giving local Afgan tribes bribes to let bin Laden offer bigger bribes and escape into Pakistan.

4. The scary thing is ....
even with all of these facts you have pointed out ,showing just what a miserable failure bush has been ,the level of support he has. I find it a terrible statement on the lack of truth in reporting ,that has enabled this faker in the white house to continue his deception ,and dig all of us into a deeper and deeper hole ,that will take years to crawl out of !

5. ABB would have spent the144 Billion wisely- not wasted it
on a quagmire in Iraq.

This chart says it all (wish it printed out better).

8. ABB would have allowed competative bidding...
ABB would have allowed competative bidding on the Iraq reconstruction contracts, rather than corruptly giving them all to Cheney's former company Haliburton without question.
