"The Guy James Show" is in serious trouble. Keep kicked please

We've always been brutally honest with our faithful listeners so its time to let all of you know that we are in dire straites. It now looks like we will not be able to continue more than three more weeks without a serious transfusion of cash. We've been paying for about 90% of the expenses out of our pockets but we just cannot afford to carry the load any longer.

We had hoped to make it thru the election but it doesn't look like that goal is going to be met. We have some "irons in the fire" with several radio companies but nothing nailed down yet and going off the air isn't going to help our chances at all.

So, I'm asking all of you if you can help save the show. I think you'll all agree its been getting better and better and is entertaining to many, many DU'ers. We appreciate your kind comments about the show and our topics of conversation. If you are so inclined, please stop on over at www.theguyjamesshow.com and donate if you can. We are on a very limited income. There are seven people living in my household. My blind Father, my son who has now been out of work for a year, my disabled veteran husband, myself, and three children two of which receive no social security disability and one is insulin dependent and the other has ear tumors from his cleft pallet and is hearing impaired. He has to be operated on quite often. Now there is a VA check for my husband coming in here and a small 600.00 social security for my Dad and I borrow every week from Peter to pay Paul. I can't remember the last time I had a vacation. I am speaking out everyday to Take America Back. People this is a real WAR and I am not talking about terror. I am talking Democracry right here in the United States. This attack on civil liberties and political corruption is hurting people like our veterans and the disabled and your parents and your children. If I can scrape up a little money to further the betterment of our future. Then you can.


I would gladly give you my CD if I myself didn't have to pay for it at Cafepress but I will try and contact some folks to offer this to you at the same price I pay. Somebody needs to have a bake sale like the one I heard about from a duer today in New Jersey. Here are a few lines from her post..

"As I leave the grocery store, a person hands me a flyer. It says, "Beat Bush Bake Sale." I decide to stop by. On the way, I see dozens of signs for the "Beat Bush Bake Sale." One is defamed by a "Veterans Against Kerry" bumpersticker.

I arrive at the bake sale. The lawn is crowded and people are sailing out of the house with freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and cakes. This looks to be a family-organized fundraiser and the sign says "all profits to the DNC." There were probably 25 people selecting baked goods. The sponsor explains, "Take whatever you want. Leave whatever donation you feel is fair." People are shelling out a lot of cash for a few cookies!

While selecting my baked goods, I overheard vehement conversations about black box voting. I was surprised to hear so many well informed persons. Some of these people could have been DU-ers!"

If you have not tuned in..Do..If you have not had your voice heard...This is a place that is toll free to have your opinions heard. Freedom isn't free. Neither is Broadcasting. Please, a few dollars here and a few dollars there is not much for people who want their country back. I know you are probably broke but we all are. Tthat is why we need to kick what little we have this way because we really won't have any money at all if we don't keep liberal voices on the air. IT is also a job that can't be outsourced. 73. What I'm amazed by is that AAR hasn't put you on yet.

Not that their current shows suck or anything, hell I think they've done quite well so far, but frankly your show is more professional sounding than some that are already on.

I'm not just talking about the celebrities either, I'm talking about other talk radio professionals.

I guess that a sane, reasoned, Liberal, veteran voice, that doesn't shoot off the scales with shrill outbursts, isn't "needed" yet?

Losing your show in SW Florida would be insane for the anti-Bush crowd. It's literally the Heart of Darkness and yet there is a voice on the radio that can rally Liberals in a place where that was unheard of until recently.

Swing states matter. Fighting in THEIR backyard is what's needed, not preaching to the already fired up choir. While that has a place I can't see it more important than kicking neo-CON ass in their own neighborhood.

You'll make it by this ugly financial stretch. Failure really isn't a pleasent option.

It is very hard to do, and we all have our special gifts. The Guy James Show is probably one of the biggest liberal shows that allow us to be heard in the media. It is unfortunately not a gift from the big boys with the money. And it costs money. Is it money or lack there of? Trust me I borrowed. Is it time? We may have all the time in the world if Kerry does not win this election. No jobs, no money, no country, no freedom. Just how much is your Freedom worth? No. Tell me. And don't you love it that he usually gets freeper calls? Don't you just relish how he puts them in their place. I get a vicarious thrill to hear his cogent counter arguments. But I also love it when he turns the volume down when they go over the edge at him and show their true selves. I'd feel cheated if we never got to hear his legendary "Republican Love" segments.
