Pat Robertson's friend Charles Taylor has been caught helping Al Qaeda
Witnesses depict Liberia's former president, Taylor, himself giving the al-Qaida operatives entree to the shady West African world of guns, cash and diamonds before Sept. 11.

Taylor, who has since been ousted and is now in exile in Nigeria, allegedly brought together rebels, state leaders and Islamic extremists under the common goal of cash.

Accounts in the report include an alleged September 1998 get-together at Taylor's executive mansion where middlemen introduced him to Abdullah.

The Liberian leader subsequently directed the al-Qaida figure to rebels controlling the mining of fine gems in neighboring, diamond-rich Sierra Leone, the investigators quote sources as saying.

The following year, Ghailani and Mohammed met Taylor at his private home in Monrovia.

Abdullah later ordered Ghailani and Mohammed to do al-Qaida's diamond-buying, "because they were of African descent and would not arouse any suspicion," the dossier quotes one of its main sources as saying.

The report also cites a "highly credible source" as placing former al-Qaida No. 2 Atef and Ghailani in Monrovia, at times meeting with diamond-dealing rebels, in 1999 and 2000.

However, neither this dossier nor other official accounts to reach the public have offered any direct proof that al-Qaida used diamond profits to fund the Sept. 11 attacks. The Sept. 11 commission estimates the 2001 attacks cost al-Qaida more than a half-million dollars to pull off.

Why did Pat Robertson engage in dealings with the atrocious dictator of Liberia? Why did Robertson defend Taylor? Maybe we have the answer to these questions now.

2. Well, according to him and Falwell, al Qaeda wasn't to blame for 9/11
It was the pagans, abortionists, feminists, ACLU, People For the American Way, gays and lesbians who are to blame.

Pat's a vile, godless POS.

3. More information on Robertson - Al Qaeda relationships
Al Qaeda made a deal with Taylor for diamonds in September of 1998.

Don't you just think it's a little strange that Robertson opened his diamond mining company 3 months later in December of 1998?

4. Robertson and his 700 Club should be investigated,
have their tax-exempt status revoked and have Robertson tried for war crimes and treason.

That self-righteous hypocrite acts so pious on TV, but his sole motivation is money and power. Flies in the face of the Bible that he's always sticking in our faces.

He has the gall to pass judgments on Bill Clinton and then supports the current dimwit we call our president.

Burn in Hell, Robertson!

5. Falwell's links to 9/11 flight school financier Wally Hilliard.
Hilliard's jet was found with 43 lbs of heroin on board - the largest amount ever seized in Central Florida - just two weeks after Atta enrolled. Was he charged? No.

9/11: The Evangelical Christian Connection

The money man behind two Florida flight schools which trained an as-yet undisclosed number of terrorist pilots has ties with the Evangelical Christian Right, including having loaned televangelist Jerry Falwell a reputed $1 million to bailout his failing religious enterprises a decade ago, and serving as Director of an avowedly Christian aeronautics company planning to manufacture a new business jet in Israel, the MadCowMorningNews has learned.

Rudi Dekkers’ financier Wallace J. Hilliard, 70, has so far managed to avoid being caught in the glare of publicity surrounding former business partner Dekkers, currently facing a charge of felony fraud as well as an ongoing multi-agency federal investigation.

But Hilliard's Huffman Aviation, the Venice flight school which trained both pilots who crashed airplanes into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center, has recently been embroiled in controversy in Falwell’s Lynchburg, VA. hometown.

As the MadcowMorningNews reported last February, a previously-unknown company housed inside Huffman was awarded a large government contract at the airport in Lynchburg under circumstances that had left aviation observers there uneasy.

Revelation of Huffman owner Wally Hilliard's prior ties with the controversial Falwell may finally shed some light on that murky transaction. In addition it provides something of a window on the successful entrepreneur whose company’s unusual corporate motto was reported to be “Hate Sin, Fight Communism, and Back the Pack!”

6. This is not a coincidence
Edited on Sat Aug-07-04 06:04 PM by ck4829
The Christian Right and Islamic terrorists pop up too many times together to be coincidences. Flight Schools, Financing, the Christian Right helping Al Qaeda when they were known as the Mujahideen, and then the Christian Right took political advantage of 9/11, this I think could mean that there is a link between the two.

Some people are bothered by the fact that the CIA helped Al Qaeda when they were known as the Mujahideen, so I thought I should add that one because the Christian Right also helped the Mujahideen.

9. Did you even read my post?
I am not talking about 'had', or 'when' it all happened.

They both had similar interests in:
Dictators
Flight Schools
Diamonds
Theocratic Rule
The 9/11 attacks (Al Qaeda did it, and then the Christian Right blamed their enemies, such as PFAW for the attacks)

Plus, plenty of people have a problem with the CIA helping the Mujahideen, I just think it is also necessary to show that the Christian Right also had a hand in helping the Mujahideen.

12. Are the GB Packers in on it too?? Say it ain't so. I think Dekker was
from Wisconsin.
All of these con men and women need to be investigated. They pulled off a coup and have tried to destroy our country and the planet for their greed. The Bushes are ALL part of it and have leadership roles. All the religious hucksters...Robertson, Falwell, the Grahams, the "Chistian" Coalition, all the religious con men belong in jail for treason.
