Jenna catches the biggest fish!

A delightfu (LOL) clip was just on Fox.

All the generations were out fishing this morning on Poppy's boat.

They said the Chimp was so excited because Jenna caught the biggest fish.

I thought I heard them say that she caught a 31 inch fish!

Did I get that right?

6. HAHAHAHA - You're prolly right
They knew the big fish would get the media's attention. Another planned photo-op disguised as a family outing. Another attempt to make bush look like the all-american father. I still don't think those two sows are his own. And as for jenna and barb being fraternal twins - no way.

2. Betcha they had someone else clean it
Edited on Sat Aug-07-04 12:36 PM by Bluzmann57
For that matter, they probably had someone else bait the hook, even if it was an artificial lure, such as a spinner or a jig. Come to think of it, if it was a jig, they probably thought it was something other than a fishing tool. Ah never mind. One other thing, WHO IN THE HECK CARES? How is a family fishing outing newsworthy?

3. "Jenna caught the fish, Jenna caught the fish!" Dumbya yelled, they said.
I didn't catch the size. I thought what they said * yelled was too funny. Sounds like my 3 year old - he must have been really excited.

7. You wanna hear a real dumbass?
Listen to *'s "lemonade" tirade at a campaign stop in NC. I don't have a link, but it went something like this: "Hey, mmm, lemonade. Good, lemonade, hey you want lemonade? Mmm, good lemonade, mmm." The girl who ran the stand was s-o-o-o-o-o impressed she almost peed her pants.

5. Sadly, it is her greatest accomplishment to date and likely to be...
...the greatest of her life. Chelsea Clinton she is not.

10. They are just trying to clean up her image

First she falls on the bar floors.

Then she sticks out her tongue.

Now she just happens to catch the biggest fish.

Chelsea - not
Vanessa - not
Alexandra - not
Emma Clare - not

Give it up Bush family. You can't hold a candle to real class.

Jenna caught it. Jenna caught the fish!" Bush shouted to journalists from his father's boat. Photographers said the monster was thrown back into the Atlantic.

18. What's with all the fishing?
Edited on Sat Aug-07-04 02:15 PM by neebob
Day before yesterday I was flipping channels and thought I'd caught a glimpse of evil chimplitude on OLN. So I flipped back, and sure enough, it was the Dubster on Roland Whatsisname's fishing show. I watched him spastically catch a bass.

"That's a beeauuuuutiful bass, Mr. President," Roland said about ten times.

Chimpy let it go, pretending to be all environmentally responsible, while the little black dog that he dropped - Barney? - ran around and peered over the edge of the boat. I noticed the drawl was not happening. Then I realized this lake they were on that he'd been bragging about restoring and the beeauuuuutiful bass were on HIS property. Yes, apparently, they were at El Rancho Pretendo. He was pointing out all these native grasses that Laura had supposedly planted.

That's all I could take. He disgusts me to the bone.

19. That fishing show was filmed during one of the bloodiest times in Iraq
Edited on Sat Aug-07-04 02:31 PM by MaineDem
I'll look for the article. It was repulsive!

I found this on our County Dems website:

Bush Fishes While Americans Die

Friday, April 9, 2004. Here are some actual headlines:

Reuters: Fighting erupts in town of Baquba north of Baghdad
CBC: Canadian kidnapped in Iraq devoted to children
AFP: Shiite radicals kill British soldier
Reuters: At least nine dead in attack on US convoy in Iraq
Reuters: Polish and Bulgarian troops killed 15 Iraqis
DenverPost: Security Contractor Killed on Thursday, April 8
Reuters: Falluja Fighting This Week Killed 450
AP: Two U.S. Soldiers and Iraqi Driver Killed

And that's only part of the day.

You know what our President was doing? He was out on the pond in his backyard down there in Crawford fishing with Roland Martin. Not only fishing but filming a television show to connect with his hunting and fishing loving target audience.

At the request of the White House, the Outdoor Life Network sent a crew down to the "ranch" to show how down-home George can be. W and his Dad doing the family thing at Easter. Meanwhile, miles away, Americans, our allies, and untold numbers of Iraqis are dying, being taken hostage, and receiving life-changing wounds. Remind anyone of Nero and ancient Rome? Something about a fiddle and a fire! It's atrocious!

Story can be read here:
