that congress should go home for August and think about the 9/11 commission recommendations for a month before acting.
Reminds me of what he did in 2001 when first warned.
This is a historical parallel that the Kerry crowd should take advantage of!

2. I know what my reaction was, and I had just gotten up

I'd worked a 12 hour shift the night before, and was congratulating myself on being up by noon, flipped on the TV. It took only about 5 seconds for me to pick my lower jaw off the floor and go to the puter to start contacting friends there as I flipped channels trying to get more information.

Bush just SAT THERE. After the infamous 7 minutes, he continued on with the photo op for another 12 minutes.

There are only two choices: either he's too stupid to do anything that he isn't told to do, or he's the most callous SOB on the face of the planet.
