Question about my profile..........................

In my profile it says that I've been a member since April of 2004. I've been around here since the autumn of 2001. Not that it's a big deal, but how do they figure someone's membership anniversary date?

3. I know what the word profile means, but

when I go to "profiles" all I find is numbers and letters--A, B, C, etc.I obviously am missing something. Do you write something about yourself in "profile?" Is that why so many of you seem to know each other? And I really am not as dumb as I sound.

4. Click on the..............

little "head" to the right of your screen name on any one of your posts. If you hold the cursor on it, it will say "authors profile". It's different from the profile icon on the top of the page.
It gives you the information on any poster.

6. "not as dumb as I sound" Of corse you aren't, truly, I believe

you, honestly:) Many DUers like yourself did not fill out the fields available when you started in DU. But do not fear. Its easy to change and add to your profile. Just click on Forums above and just to the right of "My Posts" you'll see "Options" click on that then click on "Update Profile" there you can add City and State info as well as a Comment and Sig line not to mention add an Avatar.

Go notify Skinner and they'll get it fixed quickly.
