I'm tired of being on the left.
Tell me again why I should be? Why I should vote for Kerry?

2. Be so proud to be on the left.
It means you care. Unless you really wanted that tax break.

3. Kerry isn't on the Left
When you look at an array of rankings on his voting record as a Senator, he's smack-dab in the middle.

5. It's not left or right....
Ask yourself what you believe in.

The choice, to me at least, couldn't be more clear between Bush and Kerry.

We can't make that choice for you.

12. Your Question is Bogus?
People that would word the question like you have are trying to be clever and not being honest.

What they are really asking is...

How will I know the Dem's are going to win so I can be sure to back the winner and not look foolish.

I say to people like that "Just trust me"

They couldn't care less about anybody, and won't be bothered to look it up on their own.

8. he strongly believes in science; pro-choice; staunce environmentalist
he idolized JFK; is clearly inspired by and somewhat imitates FDR;
protested the Vietnam war;
he is the very smart son of an ambassador and he will be a great world leader.

we get him in there with even just one branch of Congress,
and a lot of really good things will get done.

9. Because
1. He wants to insure all children in the US and doctor the health ins. for adults too.

2. He will roll back the tax cuts provided to the wealthy

3. He will not raise the taxes of the middle class

4. He will offer business incentives to companies who will not transfer overseas

5. He will provide a fresh face to the international scene reducing the hostility of other countries toward the US

6. He can relate to the military during a conflict period. He has been there.

7. NCLB or its equivalent will be funded

If these and other items don't work, envision 4 more years of Bush

1. Your home can be entered at anytime without your knowledge per the Patriot Act

2. The books you take out of a library are subject to oversight at anytime, again w/o your permission

3. We will invade Iran

4. The economy will continue to be sick, the rich will do well as usual

5. Distrust on the part of other nations and the UN will continue

6. There will be ongoing reversals of environmental standards for businesses

7. We will continue to borrow to manage the deficit which will grow exponentially

Tired of the left? Wait till you see 4 more years of the Republican right.

17. Being on the left is much than being facist
Looking at the thousands who are attending his rally across Missouri, should convince anyone that he's the one to run our country.

18. this isn't even a left/right election.
This election is about:
1) democracy. * showed where he is in 2000 in Florida.
2) U.S. role in the world. Dominate or cooperate?
3) civil rights. see Patriot Act.
4) environment. There is NO environmental law or regulation that this administration likes.
5) government. Do we want to drown it in the bathtub or not?

19. Because freedom is more than just a word.
Edited on Sat Aug-07-04 12:07 AM by Gregorian
Why is the Constitution and the Bill of Rights important? It seems to me that when one answers that question, they have a better chance of answering the one you asked.
