2. I just tuned in -- I didn't miss him, I don't think
because they're showing clips of Kerry and Bush talking about jobs.

4. Now on
The big picture is that over the past 11 months while we've had job growth, it's pretty disappointing... just enought o keep up with population growth. ...had a couple of really good months ... but now it looks as if we haven't turned a corner and it's pretty depressing.

5. Only three more job reports,
it would really take a miracle...

Olberman, Oct numbers would come in after the election.

Krugman: moderate to liberal economists were suggesting a whole lot of things...put the money in circulation, this high end (tax cuts) ... (didn't do it).

7. K: business investment is slowly improving but there's nothing
in there that makes me think that (things will dramatically improve over the shortrun).

6. says Kerry will be better
direct tax cuts to people who will spend the money

high-end tax cut program (Bush) doesn't work to fight a weak economy

Kerry wouldn't have a hard time doing better than Bush.

8. Progressives should support Olberman's show
Olberman is one of the few decent guys left on cable news. And his show is both entertaining and intelligent, a rare combination.
