Just got polled

The company was ITC, never heard of them.

It was totally automated and only was 2 questions.

1: "If the election were held today who would you vote for? Press 1 for John Kerry John Edwards Press 2 for Bush/Dick"
2: "If you choose Kerry/Edwards what was your reason behind it? Press 1 if your main reason is supporting the Democratic Ticket; Press 2 if your main reason is defeating George Bush"


I'm in a VERY red sate so I don't know what to make of it, just a little fishy to me. Anyone every heard of the polling company? They called it the "One Minute ITC Presidential Poll"

2. They're working on a new campaign issue -- here's why I think so

I got wind of it on Nightline the other night when Koppel was interviewing Bruce Springsteen. That was basically a question he asked Bruce (paraphrased): are you supporting Kerry, or are you just against Bush? Springsteen muffed the answer (IMO), and I think it was because he didn't get the ral underlying gist of it, so instead of hammering home a good point, he sorta danced around it. He didn't answer it BADLY, but he also didn't answer it like a politico would have.
