Wonder if JERRY FALLWELL and the AYATOLLAH KHOMEINI could have been
SEPARATED AT BIRTH, especially if you put a BEARD, ROBE and TURBAN on JERRY FALLWELL.

1. haha
I think there is something to that too because what the republicans dont seem to understand is that these religious extremists are all alike in several ways no matter what religion they are claiming. They all set themselves and their cause at a higher plane of existence than other less extreme people. They all have a particular demographic to blame all of the worlds problems on with little evidence to support it (Jerry Falwell blames the worlds problems on free women and minorities). These idiot bushies don't realize that by supporting the type of religious extremism that currently dominates the white house as well as the Congress that they are actually sympathizing with the very ideology that they supposedly detest in the terrorists. I make this analysis and I'm only 17....what does that say about overall intelligence in this country....I don't know, they are probably all just brainwashed!

2. Maybe I could say ditto for OSAMA or USAMA BIN LADEN
Edited on Thu Aug-05-04 11:45 PM by Valerie5555
as for Fallwell, it was surprising he didn't blame 9/11 on "dirty sex fiends" like WILLIAM CLINTON. Maybe at times, I would sooner have a "dirty sex fiend," than a "warmongering chicken poop," if you knew what I mean.

On edit: Not to mention America for VOTING FOR the "dirty sex fiend" in question TWICE.

3. Please don't say these two in the same sentence.
The Ayatollah is very misrepresented here (in America)--but even now many years after his death, he remains a very beloved leader in his country. That should count for something.

Falwell only appeals to a small group of zealots who are out of touch--he is not the focal point of a major movement of people.

4. There is indeed a great gulf of distance between them
To say he is very misrepresented is both quite true and quite an understatement. And anyway, if I was going to make a "seperated at birth" analogy, it'd be Sean Connery and Khumayni(RA). That should need no explanation if you really look at them.
