You're certainly entitled to an opinion.
What you're NOT entitled to is to tell it to me.
If you ask my opinion first, and I give it to you, then, and only then, you're entitled to tell me yours.
If we're having a discussion about something, anything, then it's a given that we're putting forth opinions in a mutually acceptable manner.

What you don't have a right to do is stuff my e-mailbox with unsolicited political "jokes" (especially those which denigrate Kerry/Edwards/Clinton/Hillary/Democrats when you know by now which side I'm on), or unsubstantiated/undocumented/anonymous stories/rumors/innuendo/untruths/and just plain BS.
If you do, then I'll understand that your real purpose is just a childish attempt annoy or provoke and you'll get no reply.

No. I lost my sense of humor about this when I watched in unbelieving shock and sadness at the unfolding of events in Florida during what is almost laughingly known as the 2000 "sElection". I totally lost my sense of humor when the body bags started coming back from Iraq. There is no humor in what George W. Bush has done to this nation and its people.

I'm actually getting to the point where anybody who supports Bush is no friend of mine. I stopped my email box from being cluttered by sending my sister a link to the SSI site and simply saying her email was "not quite true". She doesn't like to be embarrassed by little sis. I stopped another person by totally ripping apart his Kerry military email and hitting "reply all". But we don't need to sit by and take this. I NEVER get unsolicited liberal email, NEVER. If we can just stop a few people from forwarding this garbage all over the internet, that's well worth fighting for.

I hit "reply all" and send back a de-bunking response to the sender and everyone he/she has sent to. Everyone on the senders recipient list thus learns what a naieve and gullible idiot the sender is.
It gets me off those lists fast!

Snopes.com is often helpful for teasing out most of the lies and whoppers that make the rounds by email.

I have no patience with that crap...I have a few right wingnuts who occasionally take a jab at me with some lame joke or photo...I mosey over to the Sludge Report or Bush Lies or one of my other source sites and proceed to bury them under that stuff for a couple of days...makes them think twice about sending that shit my way and makes me feel lots better in the bargain. ;)
