Gallup and the terror alerts are twin signs of a disturbing desperation --

We knew they would do anything. With the terror alerts, they are toying with our security as a nation, the safety of our citizens, and the viability of our financial institutions. With the Gallup poll numbers, trumpeted by CNN and Drudge, a trademark polling institution has clearly been compromised and enlisted in the desperate effort by the Bush cabal to stay in power. I have a very uneasy feeling on this summer day that I can't quite define. In fact, I'm frightened -- and I don't know what it is I'm frightened by.

Things just aren't quite right. These people in power are playing mind games with the USA citizens and I don't like what is going on. God help us all.

If we had Howard Dean, or Michael Moore, or Bill Maher (he was fantastic on Larry King) on tv rebutting this propaganda we would all be feeling much better.

4. The Bush Cabal will go down in history as successful in propaganda.

All this might be to deflect from the documentaries that are out there - to inhibit the flow of information going out that impels people to see them and to read the books. Distract. Disperse the propagandists - expecially on TV to do their bidding by talking non-stop about threats and colors.

Maybe Ridge is quitting for other reasons. Maybe his soul is waking up.
