Russert and Harwood do great job on Newsweek poll
Edited on Sun Aug-01-04 09:50 AM by demdem
They to there credit, point out that the poll was a little unfair. They point out that he did get a 11 point bounce after his speech. They also said that you need to wait atleast until next week to see Kerry's bounce. Everything that I have been saying on this board.

Somedays he's a Republican loving asshole and other days he's okay.

3. Let's be honest
This country is divided

45% will go to the pugs and 45% will go to the Democrats

That means 10% are up for grabs, not including Nader

8% is not bad at all

4. There is a very, very, very, good chance the GOP will get less...
Than 45%.

10. Election fraud is a primary concern for us, but remember! The gloves...
Have long since come off! I am encouraged by the efforts and preperations being made by us to combat these criminals on ALL levels.

If we go into November with our eyes wide open, and I believe we are, we have every chance of winning.

8. uhhhhh, no, Russert took the pug view
and Harwood AND Brownstein corrected him, amplifying on what it said

I saw it, and Russert called it a baby bounce, downplaying its significance, implying it was a disappointing number

Harwood said it's too early to see the full effect of said bounce, and Brownstein talked internals, including the fact that his approval is only 45 percent, which is big trouble

pigboy also said that a seven point lead is SLIGHT

well, guess how much the margin was for Reagan's landslide over Carter?

EIGHT, with seven points going to Anderson

seven is way out of the margin of error, too

Russert did NOT do any honest characterizing of those poll results

get with it
