Where can I get those magnetic bumper stickers you folks are always raving
about? :D

I feel the need to get some involving voting for Kerry/Edwards and with pro-peace symbols etc.

Winder if there is a way to make my own, cause I bet there aren't any pro-election reform ones out there. *lol*

2. My local Guard unit sold magnetic yellow ribbons
to raise funds for their body armor, etc. It says "Support Our Troops"....I added the words "Vote Kerry!"

3. Go to a craft store
Most sell strips of rubberized magnets so you can make your own (Hobby Lobby, larger Jo-Ann stores, Michaels, etc)

9. Buy the magnetic sheets.
I've used them to put temporary decorative stickers on my car as a joke. Apply the sticker to the sheet, then cut out around the edges of the sticker.

Warning: I've heard there is a type of magnetic sheet that has a lot of paper content, and which melts in the rain, creating a sticky kind of goo. Test your sheet in water before using, or take them off before it rains or gets caught in dew.

4. Lowe's and Home Depot sell
magnetic vent covers. That's what I use. I place the bumper sticker on the white side of the cover and cut with a pair of scissors. I get 2-3 stickers on a one vent cover.

7. Oh, what a great tip, rexcat71!!
I'm not too fond of the magnetic Kerry/Edwards placards available now, and I'm especially concerned with the fact that none of the proceeds go to the DNC.

What a great idea... thank you!!!!

6. I go to sign printing stores
And have them cut up a piece of their blank magnetic sign material to which I adhere whatever bumper sticker I want.
