2. Don't forget, she also played President Bartlet's wife on the West Wing.
Not exactly a bastion of conservative values...

3. I should hope so...
She does play Mrs. Bartlett on the West Wing. I figure just about everyone on that show has to be pretty liberal

6. Actually I saw the cast once on a show
and they said pretty much everybody on the cast was liberal except Rob Lowe and he is gone now - I swear to God I saw Toby at the convention - one night watching C-SPAN but never again so I might have been wrong

12. I'm sure he has
but the rest of the cast were busting on him for not being liberal or as liberal as they are...you know he supported Arnold for Governor too

9. I love Stockard Channing.
Not only is she an amazing actress, but she seems so honest, down-to-earth and modest. She was awesome on her episode of "Inside the Actors Studio".

16. She also supported Gore
I got the "taped" message on my answering machine in 2000 encouraging me to vote Gore. I believe she also did the same with the 2002 Congressional elections in my state. She is a strong Dem supporter.

the west wing is the best show ever! if only it could really be that way...

whenever i try to describe thk to someone, i always say she's a hell of a lot like abby bartlett. smart, poised, opinionated, and very strong willed. or i'll say she's the anti- laura bush. i love her!
