CNN is pushing a covert message to the Bush base. Democrats are the party of "Black people". Hey, and we are... but it is being used to fuel a divisive message: "If you're a racist, Bush is your man"
Every time they talk about the Democrats, they show Barak or the black film critic with dreadlocks, or some image to say Democrats are the part of those "black people".
I think the covert message is to send a subtle racist signal to the Bush base.
Same thing with "Uptown Bill" doll they are selling. - a 12" animated musical doll of Bill Clinton playing "blues" on the sax. All they show is people saying "I love Uptown Bill", then they say everyone loves Uptown Bill and then they flash through Bush, Cheney, Condi, and Rummy.
http://www.itsaluluonline.com/page2.htmlThese are very subtle and easily dismissable, but none the less out there, serving subtle psychological messages under the radar.
It serves to attack our unity and diversity. I am glad to see us represented with diversity, but it's being purposefully unproportionally used against the party to pander to an ugly side of the opposing base. Kerry ROCKED their world and they are in FULL attack mode to define Kerry and the democrats.
