Who is relieved?
I mean relieved big time. Their "July surprise" turned out to be nothing. No terrorist attacks. No flubs. Pretty major unity, and yeah I did LOVE Sharpton's speech so there, media whores. (noticed Jon Stewart nailed that)

Obama. A feeling of hope.

"An attorney general that will abide by the constitution." (probably my favorite line)

Reporting for duty! (my second fave) Damn, a direct hit at Bush. He reports for nothing.

I've been sick and didn't get a chance to read last night, so I wanted to share my .02.

I've grown to like Kerry more than I thought possible.

I'm relieved it's over. I have hope.

And miracle of all fricking miracles (did Kerry pay them off, lol) even Tweetyscum and all the rest loved the speech. Pat Buchanan. My husband. Mass hysteria...or really moved by a man of substance?

I think the tide has turned.

Oh, and that song they played when Kerry came out, a Bruce Springsteen song from 20 years ago, an obscure one that was never a hit. A song I've always loved!

We made a vow, we'd always remember, no retreat, no surrender.

1. I was laughing at the panel when they said, "If I didn't know any better,
I would suspect that Pat B. will have a Kerry/Edwards bumper sticker on his car!"

2. Pat is strongly anti-neocon.
He has written several pieces critical of * and his neocon buddies. You never know - the old "enemy of my enemy" thinking could come into play.

3. Chimpy's a goner.
It was never more evident than it was last night. The knowledge of what he and his cronies have done to this country is starting to sink into the minds of people who didn't really think about it before.
