Kerry's speech was beautiful.
This was the most charismatic that I have ever seen him. How they can put the stiff label on him after this would be a mystery to me. I felt the excitement. The energy was incredible. Bush has his work cut out for him on this one. I bet he thinks all he needs to do is say "The American People are Safer" 12 times while tapping the poidum while saying it.

1. I loved how he approached the podium from the crowd
Walking down the aisle from the back energized the crowd and surprised the heck out of me. Nice touch to be among the people. That bursts the "aloof" baloon. He was so personable all the way through. Terrific gestures throughout, too.

4. and bounded up onto the stage with such ebulliance and energy
(those words are probably somewhat redundant, but who cares?)

As I said in another thread, maybe they should have Cheney try that at the RNC

Crash cart - STAT! - 1, 1, 3, CLEAR! - beeeeeeep, - I put the time of . . .

3. He did it

I was worried, but our man ... just like in his life ... came thru when he was most needed.

Kerry, while I love his politics, has not always blown me away with his speeches, but tonight he nailed it.

When his country needed him though...he hit a homerun...I want to vote so bad it hurts.
