Veterans speak out against Bush
Found this picture at Portland Indymedia. It speaks volumes. What is striking is that billboard was paid for by a Republican group. Note Elephant logo on lower right corner.

Here's another part of the story...

4. I don't think it is a real billboard ~ It's a photoshopped picture
My guess anyway and if you could see up close the elephant is a parody.

5. Not to mention...
... I believe Eller (owner of said billboard) is now Cruel, er Clear Channel Outdoor.

Looks like a photo illustration.

I hope the info about the veterans groups is true, but sometimes far-left media has been known to stretch the truth, almost as much as the far-right.

I DO hope the billboard exists, though. I like it. A lot!

6. That is not a real billboard, Cascadian...
it is just a photoshopped image. I only wish that a billboard like that would go up, but the company that runs these billboards would probably not allow one like this to go up, IMHO.

7. Vietnam Vets are meeting in St Louis
this weekend, the 23rd, and they said Bush won't be happy with them, so maybe at the moment this is photoshop, but...
Also, Rolling Thunder rode on Crawford 10 days ago to protest closing of a vet facility in Waco, TX.
Veterans are not happy with dumbya, and enlisted folks (1/3 to 1/2) probably aren't either.

8. Great read, thanks for posting this Cascadian!
I am glad my fellow Vets are finally starting to see thru the Bushit!

The billboard does look photoshopped, very eye catching though.
