From one country to another, I'm asking you to promise me something.
Promise me, if John Kerry is elected in November, that for every second he's in office, you will hold him to every syllable he said in the last hour.

3. Count on it.
It will be nice, once again, to have a responsible person there.

6. Why? Do you work for a Canadian drug company?
Heh heh. Sorry, couldn't resist.

8. Actually, I work for a Canadian/Russian software start-up.
But I've always believed that if Bush or anybody else destroys America, we'll be the first ones to go down with you. I don't like it, but there it is.

We are all citizens of the world first, and of our own countries second. And what the world needs right now is a strong, sensible leadership in the United States.

Many people in Canada, myself admittedly included, are not big fans of the US of A. Your country had a reputation for greed and bullying long before Rhymes-With-Duck Wad moved his patio furniture into the White House, and living next door to you guys has not been easy. But what I heard tonight was a real breath of fresh air, and it's something I would truly love to see become reality.

And speaking as someone who is frequently disgusted with what goes on in his own government, I would gladly give up my country's status as the UN's favorite place to stand in the House of Commons here in Ottawa, and see the looks on all the MPs' faces when I point to John Kerry's America as something Canada should try to be like.

11. And be assured, Cheney has a plan to take over Canada.
Yeah, I've been feeling kind of bad for out "allies" who have had to deal with BushLeague for the past 4 years. It's kind of like having the guy at the office nobody likes invite himself out for beers after work and then get really drunk, loud and obnoxious, and stiff you on the bill when he he finally leaves.

9. We won't be able to do that-
The revenue simply isn't there to do all he's promised.

For example, despite his "health care is a right" rhetoric, he really doesn't have much of a health care plan. It's band aids for a patient that needs surgery.

10. Michael Moore has promised
to have a camera in Kerry's face for 4 years. Not to worry.....his feet will be held to the fire. He seemed sincere to me. We'll see. :hi:
