Al, you are a wonderful friend - you're standing for the right things - we can stand behind people who are everyday heroes (Ground Zero people) -
Bill's speech - he wrote it (Al asked if she wrote it) - she only said be sure you finish by 11 o'clock. He would have riffed more, had more ad libs - he knew he had to hit the time on the money and he did. But it was a real road map for how to win the election and make a little fun of these people cuz they deserve it. They live in a parallel universe -
Al - about Bill's book - he's notoriously late - I asked him about this - he looked truly puzzled and said he didn't know he was late???
Hillary - what happens is that the people in the place that he is in don't want him to go - and the people who are where he's supposed to be want him there - he's constantly on what we call 'Clinton Time' - people know when he's there that he is in the moment and cares what they have to say and will stay to listen to them.
Al - Rough times - (re Monica) I can't think of a couple who is more made for each other
Al - I'm judgmental in silly ways, a horrible quality. Like how kids come out, it's their parents - you guys did something right. Chelsea.
Al - what Rep colleague despise you the most and who do you have the best relationship with.
H - I can't answer that because you need to remain on good terms with everyone.
